While working as a freelancer under the name BadMagicNumber, I was hired to create a portfolio for Paula Hayes. The goal was to create a site that resonated with her aesthetic. I envisioned and produced a generative fractal tree. Fruit grow on this tree that can be clicked to reveal images of the artist's work. Paula uses a different site now, but the site described is archived here.

After college, I worked at NBC Universal in Manhattan. I created interactive Flash banners to promote shows on the USA Channel. When I started working with them, they published video clips to their website using QuickTime, Windows Media, and Real Player. I introduced Flash video, and created a Flash player while reducing the posting process by a factor of three.

I ported the SesameVault JavaScript API library to ActionScript 3. I created examples to go along with this release. I assisted Creativity-Online with the creation of their new Flash video player which is built on this API library.

I produced an application for a local startup that shows first person video of a skier on a specific trail. I created an interactive map of the mountain, with clickable trails and a floating video player. A user clicks on a trail, and as the video plays a dot on the trail moves in sync with the skier.
